Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco is excited to join the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) in celebrating Women in Construction (WIC) Week March 1st – 7th, 2020. The focus of WIC Week is to highlight women as a visible component of the construction industry. WIC Week raises awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and emphasizes the growing role of women in the industry.

Sarah, Habitat’s infrastructure project coordinator, has worked with Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco Counties for over five years now.

In her position, she is responsible for the coordination and overseeing of all aspects of the infrastructure and site preparation, from pre-permit application through exterior wall completion.

Sarah is one of only 1% of women that work in the Natural Resources, Construction & Maintenance industries. She is one of the many women on our team who make it possible for us to continue our mission and provide safe and affordable homes for members of our community.
