Here at Habitat, we understand that these uncertain times can be difficult for everyone. As our staff works remotely for the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing how the Habitat team is staying positive during these changing times. 

“Home is where everything will be okay,” says John, our Restore Manager.

John has been spending this time at home sitting outside more and relaxing, which is his favorite “me” time activity. He is also taking the time to read “Mangrove Lightning by Randy Wayne White. I’d been meaning to get to it since last year’s Habitat Gala.”

When he’s in need of some physical exercise, his favorite activities are walking and kayaking.

John is spending the time at home grilling for his family. His budgeting tip to share with others is “Making a weekly menu before shopping.”
