The Safety Harbor Strong Facebook group, created to help the residents of Safety Harbor through the COVID-19 crisis, will conduct an online auction from May 19-26 to support several Safety Harbor non-profit organizations.
The Safety Harbor Strong Together As One Non-Profit Auction will be held online at

● Trip for two to Iceland
● Trip for two to Jackson Hole, Wyoming
● “Jump Start Your Business” package
● Private poker party with vodka tasting
● Private beer brewing experience with tapping party
● Staycation packages for Safety Harbor, Dunedin and St. Petersburg
● Jack Daniel’s gift basket
One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of each item will benefit the non-profit organization that offered the item. Non-profit organizations that will benefit include the Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation, Goodwill-Suncoast, Harbor Exchange Club, Rotary Club of Safety Harbor, the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties, Safety Harbor Little League and The Harbor Dish.
The auction begins at 4 p.m. on May 19 and ends at 8 p.m. on May 26.
“We have been so inspired by how the more than 2,800 members of Safety Harbor Strong have helped each other through this unprecedented time in our lives,” said Scott Long, who created the Facebook group with Megan Willoughby. “Our non-profit organizations are hurting, too, and while we know many people may not be in a position to help them financially right now, we hope those who are will find something interesting in this auction, knowing that their winning bids will do tremendous good in our community.”
