Briana Evans is a single mother of three wonderful boys. Ricio, who is 13 years old, enjoys playing and watching football. MJ, who is 11 years old, loves playing games, swimming, and playing basketball. BJ, who is three years old, enjoys watching Coco Melon, playing at the park, and pretending he’s Spiderman. Briana is very family-oriented and describes herself as loyal, goofy, but shy. Her boys are her world, and as long as they are together, they are happy. Briana works as a Phlebotomist at St. Anthony’s Hospital, and her main goal is to provide a safe and stable environment for her family. However, with the ever-increasing cost of rent, it’s becoming difficult for her to afford a stable home for her family.
Briana’s life changed when she was accepted into the Habitat for Humanity program. She was thrilled to be one step closer to becoming a homeowner by the age of 30, which was one of her life goals. Habitat for Humanity will be able to give her and her boys the space and comfort they needed, as well as a home to call their own. Briana is looking forward to contributing to the mortgage payments and owning her own home. She is also eager to say that she worked hard and earned her Habitat house by helping to build it.
In her new home, Briana is looking forward to decorating her new cozy home and chilling on her couch after a long hard day of work. “Home is where the heart is and create memories,” she says. Briana is looking forward to the day that she and her boys do not have to move anymore. Before they know it, the Evans family will have their very own forever home with Habitat.
