India Craft has been a Pediatric Dental Hygienist at Levitt & Prasatthong for 9 years. She is a single mother to three children: her daughter, Inderia (age 17), her oldest son, Derrick (age 16), and her youngest son, Everett (age 11). Inderia enjoys arts & crafts and loves to go sailing. Derrick loves to play video games and basketball. Everett also enjoys video games and basketball, but also loves to play with bey blades and going swimming. India describes her family as very loving. “We are working towards our foundation for our future. We feel very blessed to be a part of the Habitat program.”
The family’s current living situation has been a struggle for a while now. As India’s children continue to grow, she regularly comes into the issue of not having enough space for them to sleep or live comfortably. Other issues she has experienced include the shower not working, washer and dryer being broken, and inhabitable living conditions. India says she felt joy and excitement after learning she was accepted into the Habitat program. She is looking forward to being able to call herself a homeowner and is happy to know that her children will finally have stability.
