Nonprofit’s current and future projects stay on track
LARGO — For the past three months, Habitat for Humanity has been unable to use one of its key tools in helping to build homes: volunteers.
While the coronavirus pandemic may have slightly slowed the nonprofit housing developer’s production, it hasn’t stunted its ambition.
Three large projects underway or in the works in central Pinellas County prove that.
CLEARWATER, FL – For the third year in a row, MarineMax partnered with Habitat for Humanity to present a deserving family the keys to their new home in Clearwater, Florida.

Largo, FL— On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020, three families will celebrate the completion of the Habitat for Humanity homeownership program by receiving their keys. The Smith, Massey and Taylor families partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties to build their forever homes, which they will purchase with zero percent interest mortgages.
Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties, a nonprofit organization based in Clearwater that is part of the Habitat for Humanity family. It is a Tampa Bay Business Journal 2020 Business of Pride ally company honoree, which honors companies that have programs to ensure LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace.
