“I am going to appreciate my house so much more knowing that I put so many hours into it.”
Loraine, a Front Office Clerk for John Hopkins Middle School and a mother of one, is coming to the end of her Habitat journey and will soon move into her new home. “My family is so much fun and very lovable. I spend every second of my spare time with them. We are so close with my brothers and sister.”
With rising rent costs, the family has struggled to keep up with the necessary bills. “It has been very stressful trying to figure out how to pay my bills from month to month. Being accepted into the Habitat homeownership program has let me see the light at the end of the tunnel. All I can feel now is happiness and joy!”
“It took me three times to be accepted into the program and look at me now. It is going to be so much less stressful knowing that I’m in a new home that I helped build. I will never again have to worry if I can pay my rent on time.”
“I am most looking forward to having a place that my family can call a forever home. It will be something I can leave my daughter, and it will be full of love.”
Congratulations
