Here at Habitat, we understand that these uncertain times can be difficult for everyone. Many are homebound for the upcoming weeks, which leaves a lot of our families facing tough challenges. However, others are making the best of the situation and finding ways to stay positive. We will be sharing updates that our homeowner candidates shared about how their families are staying positive during this time.  

The Bishop family has been staying busy while the children are staying home from school. By walking, riding bikes, skating, painting, and drawing, Jazzmin and Jaeden are staying active. They have especially loved making food such as crepes and grilled cheese together while playing games like Would You Rather, Eye Spy, and Clue.

Jessica has found many ways to stay positive during this time. For some personal time, she has loved to do her hair, read her current book The Secret, write, and watch comedic shows. While browsing social media, one post that said “Stay looking up” caught her eye and made her smile.
