Last month, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco celebrated the accomplishments of two of our leadership staff members: President and CEO, Mike Sutton, for his recognition on the TBBJ Power 100 list, and Chief Construction Officer, Gaby Camacho, recognized as a TBBJ BusinessWoman of the Year Honoree.
Our very own President & CEO was recognized for the third year in a row on the 2023 Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Power 100 list, a guide to the region’s most influential business leaders! The Power 100 list serves as guide to the region’s most influential business leaders.
From the TBBJ: “To narrow down the list, the team assessed not only organizational leadership but those who, either visibly or quietly, through philanthropic or institutional means, shape the path and fortunes of the regional business community beyond their own bubble. The recognition represents a cumulative impact and staying power. Power by nature doesn’t change quickly. There will be familiar names.”
Mike’s strategic vision and leadership continues to elevate the Habitat brand and spread awareness of the impact made in our community through the mission.
Congratulations and thank you to Mike for his continued leadership!
Habitat’s Chief Construction officer, Gabriela Camacho, has been named a Tampa Bay Business Journal BusinessWoman of the Year Honoree!
This is an impressive and well-earned accomplishment as the TBBJ’s BusinessWoman of the Year awards highlight some of the most dynamic and influential businesswomen in Tampa Bay.
As the Chief Construction Officer at Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco, Gabriela leads a core pillar of the organization. During her 12+ years of service to Habitat, she has served in several roles including site supervisor, procurement manager, and director of construction. Today, she oversees the entire construction function for a $24M nonprofit ministry, building 65+ homes annually. In the last five years, Habitat Pinellas and West Pasco has doubled its impact of service in the community. Gaby explains, “I have a deep connection to the Habitat mission. I am passionate about construction and partnering with future homeowners to build their forever home.”
Congratulations and thank you to Gaby for all of her hard work and dedication to the Habitat mission!
