St. Petersburg’s mayor has chosen Habitat for Humanity as the developer for two properties in the city to bring relief to the city’s housing crisis.

The City of St. Petersburg has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties to develop 60 townhomes. The organization will build the homes in South St. Petersburg. This area, like much of Tampa Bay, desperately needs affordable housing. These new townhomes will be a tremendous benefit to both families and the surrounding community.

Affordable homeownership could be attainable for residents in South St. Petersburg by 2024 through a housing partnership with the City and Habitat for Humanity.

Nearly 60 new affordable housing units are in the works for south St. Pete.

The city chose Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing in South St. Pete. Mortgages will cost as low as $1,075 monthly.
